Services: Short Length Documentary
I headed to Taboão da Serra, a municipality in the metropolitan region of São Paulo, to document the car system culture that unifies the people of the periphery. Countless hours, and hefty investments, are dedicated to transform cars into monstrous sound systems that have become a symbol of social integrity in the outskirts of the largest city in South America. This culture is present across Brasil, and on this occasion, Marcio Ilace, tells us about his passion for music and his Fiat Uno 96.
Shot on an A7sii, handheld, on a Sunday before Christmas of 2017.
This mini doc is a preface of a larger, 40min exploration on the subject of car sound systems and the culture around the people of the periphery of São Paulo!
